I admit I thought this new challenge of writing a blog post each month would be more fun. Well, it's fun to write it, but our lives would be more fun right now. Oh well, we have to roll with it.
March vibes
Once again, we had to go to the hospital. This time at least, Jernej and I were a bit more prepared. Once Adam started having breathing troubles, we called the ER, and they gave us great info on how to act and when to visit them. Sadly, that was necessary, and he had to stay in the hospital for two nights. He came home with a new infection, rotavirus, that lasted ten days, so March was fun too.
We are building an outdoor patio and kitchen. We're so excited to start working on our brand-new patio and outdoor kitchen. We decided to go the DIY route, making everything ourselves. We finally finalized the plans and have everything we need to start working. The goal is to have wooden flooring, as it's best for the little ones. Also, we will build the outdoor kitchen from scratch and are excited to share the step-by-step process with you guys. Below, you can find a sneak peek into our inspiration. (Studio McGee).
Short and sweet
Christening - We plan on having Flin's Christening later this spring. That's always lovely, and I cannot wait to make a plan for all the pastries and cookies to bake. Do you guys bake at home for special events or usually buy the pies?
YOU! You must know the main character if you have been watching Gossip Girl. We have been binge-watching the series YOU and have loved the bizarre storytelling.
PORTO, PORTUGAL.I have been looking at all the Porto posts on Tik Tok to find Porto's most unique, hidden gems. We are incredibly excited to try the food and learn about the culture. Have you visited Porto before? What should we see/eat/do?
