They are quick and easy to make, but be sure to have your pulled pork ready. If you don’t have it prepared, this recipe will go from taking minutes to taking hours. You can either use store-bought pulled pork or make it from scratch using our linked recipe below. We opted for Kaiser rolls instead of traditional burger buns, but burger buns will work perfectly as well. You can make your own or use store-bought ones. These burgers are ideal for any occasion—whether you’re hosting a gathering or just enjoying a simple midweek dinner.

METHOD

  • make the salad

    Combine red cabbage, cabbage, grated cabbage, and thinly sliced onion in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, caraway, and parsley.

    Place a pan over medium heat and add the pulled pork. Cook for 2 minutes; add a tablespoon of BBQ sauce, stir, and remove from the heat. Stir in two tablespoons of pulled pork cooking juices.

  • Pulled Pork Burger

    Cut the burger buns in half. Spread the BBQ sauce over half of the burger buns. Drizzle with roasting pulled pork juices. Add pulled pork and cabbage salad. Cover with the bun and serve.
