Banh Mi inspired Sandwich
We love recreating foreign recipes at home. That’s a delicious way of “traveling” around the globe even when we can’t. Today we were inspired by Vietnam and its famous Banh Mi. Banh Mi is a crunchy, delicious bread perfect for indulgent sandwiches. The most important part of this sandwich (apart from the filling) is the crunchiness of the bread. If you can’t find crunchy sandwich bread, toast it in the oven to achieve crispiness. For the filling, we used three types of pork. Cutting the meat into thin slices is essential, or the sandwich won’t taste the same. Then add some sour and fresh veggies and mayo and Maggi sauce. It’s so good.
