Today, we are excited to share delicious Easter brunch recipes and ideas with you. Previously, we shared Christmas dinner menus that many of you found helpful, so we thought, why not provide some delightful Easter brunch treats as well? It is important to prepare for holidays in a relaxed manner, allowing you to truly enjoy the joy of family gatherings.
In this post, you will find ideas for an Easter brunch menu that you can customize to suit your tastes and those of your loved ones. Since Easter typically revolves around a few key ingredients—such as bread, eggs, ham, and horseradish—we have organized our suggestions into several categories.
We have also included some lunch and dinner ideas, as some people prefer to celebrate a little later in the day. It’s always nice to have those options!
Without further ado, let’s dive in. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask in the comment section below.

CREATE YOUR MENU
Dyed Easter Eggs are essential for every Easter meal. We always use natural colors, like cabbage, onion, beets, and turmeric, to dye them. Our kids adore putting stickers on them to personalize and make them their own. It may not be the most stylish way, but it's personal and cute to us.
BREAD AND BAKED GOODIES
This is the first thing we do for the holidays. It takes the longest to make, yet we prefer to make baked goods from scratch for holidays.
These are our favorites:
- Homemade Spelt Bread
- Italian Easter Bread (recipe coming soon...)
- Soft Dinner Rolls
- Savory Bread Rolls with Crispy Pork Lard and Onion
- Ocvirkovka (recipe coming soon...)
- Milk Bread with Raisins
- Hot Cross Buns
- Easter Bunny Shaped Rolls
HAM
It's essential to serve Ham for the Easter holidays. Everyone has their own way of preparing it. You can get super creative and adjust it 100% to your taste. These next recipes show our favorite ways to prepare ham and how to use leftovers, too.
- Maple Glazed Ham
- Ham in Bread
- Ham Spread
- Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry with Sauerkraut
- Ham and Cheese Sliders with Horseradish

HORSERADISH
Either you like it, or you don't. Horseradish is an essential part of the Easter brunch table. My parents roughly grate it. This way, it has the most character and sharpness. However, we like to stir it in a sauce and make one (or all) of these:
POTICA AND OTHER SWEET TREATS
Traditionally, my mom makes the best "Potratna potica" each year for the Easter holidays. Everyone in our family (and beyond) adores it. And I have been wanting to share her recipe for ages. I hope this year will finally be the right time. I like to make Potica too, and our family adores babkas and other sweet yeasted treats. These are our favorites:
- Ricotta Lemon Potica
- Potica (Slovenian Nut Roll)
- Walnut Rolls
- Chocolate babka
- Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls
- Marble Cake
- Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting
- Vanilla Brioche Buns with Raspberries
- Lemon Cheesecake Bars
