Apple Horseradish Sauce
Usually, we prepare this recipe for Easter brunch. It's a delicious sauce that goes perfectly with cooked ham, braised beef, and roasts. It's especially great to serve it with "heavier" food, as it balances it out beautifully. The sweet apple and sharp, freshly grated horseradish are an excellent combination. The preparation will only take you a few minutes.

Peel the apple, remove the core, and grate it into a small bowl. Finely grate the fresh horseradish or use jarred grated horseradish. Add the apple cider vinegar, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the water or apple juice, and stir to combine. Serve.
