Tips and tricks to make the best Charcuterie Board at home

This is how we always make Charcuterie Boards at home. 

Choose a beautiful base. We love using a round or rectangular wooden board, but feel free to use a marble board, a rimmed baking sheet, or a beautiful serving tray.

Pickles. Pickles and spreads make Charcuterie Boards fun, surprising, and well-balanced. We used DROGA dobrote pickles, but feel free to use your favorites. You can also use olives, jams, and different spreads.

Textures. Adding crackers, crostini, pretzels, fresh fruits, dried fruits, herbs, and nuts adds color and texture and makes it more visually appealing. 

Shapes and sizes. Cut the cheese into rectangles, circles, and triangles to create different shapes and sizes. You can easily fold the meat or make ribbons. Choosing different forms of crackers and colorful grapes, and dried fruits makes it fun.

Storing

It's best to serve the Charcuterie Board soon after you make it. If not, cover it with clingfilm and place it in the fridge until serving. Add the fresh fruits and herbs right before placing them on the table.

    Grab a beautiful large wooden board and three small bowls or ramekins. Add the red pepper spread, pickled zucchini, and pickles to the bowls and place them on top of the board to form a triangle (like shown in the video).

    Slice each cheese differently in cubes or triangles, and use some thinly sliced cheese too. Arrange the cheese around the bowls or ramekins with pickles and spreads. Add the cured meats to the empty spaces around the ramekins. Fold the cured meats in ribbons or spread them out beautifully in a curved line. Now it's time to fill the rest of the board with crackers, dried fruits, and nuts. Place the grape on the edge of the board. Optionally add some fresh herbs, like sage, for some color.
