This is such an easy no-churn, homemade recipe that is made without any cream, eggs or even sugar. You will only need 5 simple ingredients: frozen bananas, creamy peanut butter, almonds, honey, and a pinch of salt. Blend everything in a blender or food processor and you are done. As simple as that. You can serve this ice cream immediately (thanks to the frozen bananas) or you can place it in a nice ice cream container and freeze for a couple of hours to get an even creamier texture.

Bananas - Cut the ripe bananas on smaller chunks, place them in freezer bag and freeze overnight (or up to a month), then use.

Peanut butter - Use high-quality, creamy peanut butter.

Almonds - you can use hazelnuts or pecans, walnuts as well.

Honey - For some delicious sweetness. Can be substituted with maple syrup.

Salt - A pinch of salt makes it even better.

How long can I keep my homemade banana peanut butter ice cream in a freezer

You can serve your delicious Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream immediately, or you can place it in a nice ice cream container and freeze it for up to a month. You can also make it up to 1 month ahead or you can keep you frozen bananas frozen for up to one month and then make the ice cream whenever you crave it.

    Peel your bananas, cut on larger chunks and place in a freezer bag. Freeze them for at least one day (or up for a month).

  • Blend

    Place the frozen bananas in a high-quality blender or food processor. Add peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, blanched almonds and a pinch of salt. Mix until creamy, silky and delicious, for about 2 - 3 minutes.

  • Serve

    Serve immediately or even better: Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 2 - 4 hours. That way your ice cream will have even a creamy texture. Serve with your favorite topping. We like cacao nibs and coconut flakes or maple syrup. Enjoy. Keep chilled in a freezer for up to a month.
