I (Maja) grew up eating this dish. My Austrian grandma made it all the time, and she called it “Zigeuner Schnitzel,” which translates to Gypsy Schnitzel. It’s also called Balkan Schnitzel. It has many names, some controversial, so we will call it Pork Shoulder Steak with Pepper Sauce.
